Instructions

Slice a vanila pod (lengthwise) and scrape out the seeds.

Add the seeds and pods to a small saucepan with cornstarch, egg yolks(M). sugar and the vanilla pod and Seeds.

Whisk well to achieve a uniform mixture.

Add milk and whisk to a uniform smooth mixture.

Bring to a boil on a stove over medium heat while mixing constantly until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble. Cook for an additional 1 minute and remove from stove.

If lumps formed, pass through a dense sieve.

Move the cream to a bowl and let cool. Cover and set in the fridge to chill before using. If you are in a rush, a freezer can do the trick.

Before using the cream, remove from fridge and mix. Remove the vanilla pod
